Burnham-On-Sea's
FolkFest
2006 schedule is announced
 Dozens
of music events are set to be held across Burnham-On-Sea during
a two-day folk music festival on Saturday September 2nd and Sunday
September 3rd.
Musicians
from across the country are set to converge on the town's pubs
for FolkFest 2006 to play a foot-tapping mixture of blues, jazz
and acoustic music.
Graham
Cook, one of the event's organisers, told Burnham-On-Sea.com:
"On the Saturday, we'll have live music in seven pubs running
throughout the day and evening. There'll
also be a big ceilidh in the Princess Hall, and we'll have street
entertainers to create a festival atmosphere."
On
the Sunday, an expanded version of the annual Folk In The Park
will be held in the Manor Gardens. The full schedule of the two-day
event is shown below.
