Three
car accident blocks A38 on the outskirts of Burnham-On-Sea

The
A38 on the outskirts of Burnham-On-Sea was briefly blocked on
Thursday afternoon after an accident involving three vehicles.
Long
queues of traffic developed in the area around Brent Knoll following
the pile-up, pictured above.
The
road was blocked at the busy Harp
Road junction next to the Fox and Goose restaurant from just
before 2pm.
Police
and paramedics attended the scene, but fortunately there were
no serious injuries.
"One
person was taken to Weston General Hospital with slight head injuries,
but these were not serious," police spokesman Wayne Baker
told Burnham-On-Sea.com. He added that the road was fully cleared
at around 4.00pm.
