Helicopter
joins search for man in Highbridge after shed break-ins
A
helicopter was used to help Burnham-On-Sea police conduct a night-time
search of Highbridge early on Wednesday morning (March 5th) following
a recent spate of shed break-ins.
The
force helicopter, pictured, swooped in above above the town at
1.40am after the alarm was raised when a man was seen with several
mountain bikes in Tyler Way.
"A
man was reported to us with two mountain bikes in Tyler Way,"
police spokesman Dan Mountain told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
"Police
attended as part of their investigations into a series of recent
shed break-ins. The man was briefly sighted again in Market Street
and a full search of the area was conducted, with the helicopter
helping officers on the ground."
He
added that no arrests had been made.
