Teenager
arrested following Burnham-On-Sea accident
Police
confirmed on Monday (June 23rd) that a teenager had been arrested
following a dramatic accident in the centre of Burnham-On-Sea
at the weekend.
A
19-year-old man was held following an accident in Oxford Street
in which a car ploughed into a garden wall, sending bricks and
concrete through the front windows of a house, as first reported
here.
Police
spokesman Dan Mountain told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "A nineteen
year old man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and
was later released on bail pending further enquiries."
Residents
were woken by a loud bang early on Saturday (June 21st) when the
car, which was travelling from Highbridge to Burnham, left the
road and careered into a garden.
