Burnham-On-Sea exhibition showcases artistic local talent

Art students in Burnham-On-Sea held a three-day exhibition showcasing their work over the past weekend.

More than 130 items, including paintings, wood carvings and stone sculptures, went on show at the home of Burnham artists Sue and Clive Hammond-Lovatt.

Over 21 of the couple's students showed off their work in front of a steady trickle of visitors.

Among the items on show were sculptures made by Catherine Main (top), and acrylic paintings by Margaret Hole (right). Maureen Lukins (beneath) displayed her acrylic paintings and Jonathan Main (bottom of page) showed his sculptures.
