Highbridge
youngsters
rewarded for 'Dreamscheme' community work

Youngsters
from Highbridge who have been taking part in a week
of community work as
part of the town's new 'Dreamscheme' project
were rewarded with an afternoon of ten pin bowling on Saturday
(February 21st).
Dozens
of youngsters travelled to Stardust Amusements in Brean for several
hours of ten pin bowling, which they'd earned by undertaking various
local jobs, such as cleaning
Apex Park and collecting rubbish from the centre of Highbridge.
Over
70 children aged 8-16 have been taking part in the Highbridge
Dreamscheme this week. It has been set up by the Children and
Young Persons Sub-Committee of the Local Action Team for Highbridge,
alongside Highbridge Police.
If
you are interested in joining Highbridge Dreamscheme, see the
official website available
