£1,000
boost for two local groups from Burnham-On-Sea councillor
Burnham-On-Sea's
rescue hovercraft charity is among two local groups to share a
funding boost of more than £1,000 this week.
The money was raised at the Tyntesfield Masonic Lodge annual Ladies
Night, held at Cadbury House Hotel near Bristol, earlier this
year.
Burnham town councillor and Lodge Master Michael Clarke has presented
£520 to BARB's Operations Manager Steve Perks (pictured

And
a further £520 cheque was handed over to Keith Eccleston
from St Michael's Cheshire nursing Home at Axbridge, as below.
"As
Master of the Lodge, and a resident and town councillor of Burnham,
it was great to be able to put something into local charities,"
said Michael.
He
added: "Hopefully we can make a further commitment to raise
more for both these worthy causes."
