Craft
fair near Highbridge raises much-needed funds for village hall

Hundreds
of pounds was raised towards improvements for a village hall near
Highbridge on Saturday (May 30th) when a fundraising craft and
produce fair was held.
Dozens
of people flocked to Watchfield Village Hall for the third annual
craft fair, which was organised to raise funds for the hall's
new porch.
A
steady stream of visitors bought a wide range of items - from
books and bread to clothing - during the day.
"We
had a good turnout from visitors and it all helped to raise a
good sum torwards the much-needed new porch," organiser Keith
Whitting told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
"It
was also a good opportunity for local craft and produce makers
to show off their home-made products."
