Man, 48, arrested after criminal damage to Highbridge bus shelter

-

A man has been arrested following an attack on this bus shelter in Highbridge on Friday (January 15th).

The 48 year-old was held after a tip-off from residents that a window in the Bank Street bus shelter had been smashed.

The man was charged with criminal damage and will appear at Sedgemoor Magistrates Court on 9th February.

“Many of the community would have seen the result of the damage with broken glass about and I hope that they will be reassured that their local officers responded quickly and took positive action,” Sgt Ian Kennett told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
