Father
Christmas arrives in Burnham... or is that the North Pole?

Father
Christmas must have felt at home when he dropped in at the town's
hovercraft rescue station at the weekend!
Dozens
of families braved the snowy weather to visit him during a special
festive fundraiser at the BARB hovercraft station on The Esplanade,
which had been transformed into a grotto.
Burnham-On-Sea's
Mayor and Mayoress were among the visitors during the successful
two-day event, which helped raised more than £500 for BARB,
the charity that operates Burnham's rescue hovercrafts.

Burnham's Mayor and Mayoress were among the supporters who attended

The winner of the Christmas hamper - which was donated by various
BARB supporters - was Burnham resident Roy Criddle
