Radio station broadcasts live from Burnham seafront

-

Part of Burnham-On-Sea’s seafront was turned into a broadcasting studio on Monday (July 19th) when a local radio station visited the town.

BBC Somerset’s bus pulled up on The Esplanade, allowing presenter Emma Britton to broadcast her Morning Show live from the town.

Over the course of the morning, the team interviewed several local groups, including Highbridge’s Curtain Call School of Performing Arts, whose members put on a performance for the station, and rescue charity BARB, whose hovercraft crew were featured.

Emma also spoke to some of the children and staff from St Joseph’s School, who were taking part in a visit to the beach.
