Community-spirited youngsters clear pavements in Highbridge

This community-spirited group of Highbridge youngsters have come to the aid of residents struggling with slippery pavements caused by this weekend's snow.

Lucas Adams, 12, Sophie Adams, 10, and Megan Adams, 6, spent Saturday clearing snow along Church Street after seeing an elderly neighbour tumble over.

Father Jason told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "They were quite shocked to see a neighbour slip over and decided to help by clearing a long stretch of the pavement along Church Street to make it safer. They were happy to help - and were grateful to passers-by who thanked them."
