Over £500 was raised for Burnham-On-Sea’s carnival club when a fundraising street party was held in the centre of town on Sunday (May 30th).

Burnham’s MP, Tessa Munt, was among the crowds of supporters at the event, which took place in Burnham High Street outside the Somerset and Dorset pub in aid of Hillview Juvenile Carnival Club.

“The event was a lot of fun with music, stalls, food and live entertainment throughout the night,” Hillview’s Mark Bishop told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“We are very grateful to everyone who came along and supported the event, including our MP who was interested to hear all about our club.”
