Burnham fire crew tackles small blaze at Highbridge wildlife park

A Burnham-On-Sea fire crew was called to tackle a small blaze at a wildlife park near Highbridge last night (Thursday, June 30th).

One fire engine was sent to Alstone Wildlife Park at 8.20pm, as pictured here, after a bonfire had burned out of control.

The park's Helen Duckett told "The fire seemed to be burning underground and was creeping towards our garages and stables."

"We were worried it would cause some damage, so were grateful to the fire crews."
