Work on the second phase of a major construction project to
build 117 affordable homes in Highbridge has got underway this

District Council, who contributed £100,000 in capital funding.
Speaking at the launch, Sedgemoor District Councils Chairman,
Councillor Gill Slocombe said increasing the supply and availability
of affordable homes is a key priority for the council.
She told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "The Springfield Road housing
project is an important gateway site and is making a positive
contribution to the wider Highbridge regeneration jigsaw."

people access to a genuinely affordable and decent home. We are
