An air ambulance landed on a sports field in Burnham-On-Sea on Friday afternoon (September 21st) to air-lift a man to hospital.
The helicopter landed on the fields next to the town’s BAY Centre in Cassis Close, as pictured here.
Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance spokeswoman Tracy Bartrum told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The helicopter airlifted an adult male from the football ground who had suffered a suspected cardiac arrest.”
“The patient was taken to Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton. It left the scene at 3.50pm and arrived at Musgrove Park 4pm.”
