New outdoor play area unveiled at Berrow Pre-School

Berrow Pre-School has this week unveiled a new play area ready for the start of the new term.

The outside play area features a large climbing frame with cargo netting and poles plus a textured track. This is in addition to a large covered sandpit, den area and small football pitch.

The play equipment is suitable for children of all ages across the whole primary school and many of the classes within the primary school have already enjoyed it.

Annette Milburn, Daycare Manager, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "We are really pleased with the new equipment. The children and staff all love it. The feedback from the parents has been very positive. It is great to have another item which is completely 'open ended' for the children to play on."

"It will help the children's physical development so much. Our pre-school spend a lot of time outside so this will enhance the children's enjoyment of that time."
