Body
recovered from river was missing Highbridge resident

The
coroner has confirmed that the body of a man recovered from a
river near Burnham-On-Sea last Friday (June 1st) has been identified
as a missing Highbridge man.
Burnham-On-Sea.com
first reported here
last week that the body was recovered from a stretch of river
off Newbridge Drove in East Huntspill.
It
follows a major search operation carried out by police, the fire
service's water rescue team, a police helicopter and police divers
- as pictured here.
A
spokeswoman for Somerset coroner Michael Rose told Burnham-On-Sea.com:
"The body has been identified as a missing 58 year-old man
from Highbridge who had gone missing the day before. An inquest
into the death is to be opened shortly."
