The stars of BBC1’s hit TV series Strictly Come Dancing and So You Think You Can Dance will be coming to Highbridge over the next few days to take part in several special dancing events – and readers can join the sessions.
Matt Flint, the 2011 winner of the BBC’s So You Think You Can Dance, will be visiting the the Lucy Gunter Dance and Theatre Arts Centre this Saturday (August 4th) when the centre will be holding tap dancing workshops, boys’ dancing workshops and Broadway jazz classes for children and adults with the star.
Professional dancer Camilla Dallerup, who appeared on Strictly Come Dancing for five years, will also be visiting the centre on Monday August 20th for several dance classes with children aged 4-13.
Camilla is best known for her appearances on Strictly Come Dancing, where she appeared as a professional dancer from 2004 and won the show in 2008, partnering Holby City actor Tom Chambers. She also represented the UK at the first Eurovision Dance Contest in 2009 and was a contestant on ITV’s I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!
