Highbridge teenager is no fool for Sport Relief skydive!
18 year-old Highbridge leisure assistant who does not have a head
for heights is planning a skydive on April 1st to help raise funds
for Sport Relief.
Crocker, who works at King Alfred Leisure Centre in Highbridge,
is planning to make the jump as part of a tandem team at Dunkeswell
Airfield in East Devon.
will jump from a height of 15,000ft or three miles and is expected
to reach speeds of up to 120 miles an hour during his descent.
Alex told Burnham-On-Sea.com that despite his dislike of heights
he is willing to overcome his fears to raise money for what he
believes is a worthwhile cause.
am not fond of heights but I thought I would challenge myself
this year for Sports Relief as a skydive is on the list of things
that I have always wanted to do."
am a bit nervous about it especially as it is planned for April
1st, which may be tempting fate a bit!"
I am looking for sponsorship to raise as much money as I can for
Sport Relief which makes a huge difference to the lives of people
around the world."
