Burnham-On-Sea’s Mayor formally opened a new flower shop in the town centre on Saturday morning (July 27th).

“Small independent shops are the lifeblood of our town centre, so it’s great to see this High Street unit being filled by a florist and I wish Julie all the best for a prosperous future here,” said Cllr Cox.

Burnham’s MP Tessa Munt also attended the opening and gave her support to the business. “It’s great to see Burnham High Street so vibrant and I am delighted to support this new

Julie Dean, who has been a florist in Burnham for 15 years, said “I’ve been considering a move into a larger, more prominent town centre location for some time so when the lease for this shop came up, I was keen to take it on and we are delighted to have opened on time.”
