Two hurt as car crashes into wall in village near Burnham-On-Sea

Two people were hurt in an accident in Lympsham on Friday evening (October 25th).

Fire crews from Burnham-On-Sea, Weston and Glastonbury were called to Hope Farm in Brean Road, Lympsham at 5.30pm where a car had struck a wall.

Crews stabilised the vehicle and removed the roof of the car to enable the occupants - a man and a woman - to be freed.

Fire crews said one casualty who was not physically trapped, but had suffered from suspected back and neck injuries.
