Burnham tennis coaches complete schools tour in East Huntspill

Potential Wimbledon stars of the future received tips and advice from coaches from Burnham-On-Sea's Avenue Tennis Club when they visited a local school this week.

Coaches Vinny Duddy and Craig Phillips visited East Huntspill Primary School to take the children through some fun tennis games and skills.

Vinny told "The kids were really great. The coaches have now visited all the schools in the Burnham area."

Meanwhile, the Avenue Tennis Club in Burnham will be holding its Open Day on Wimbledon Men’s Finals Day, Sunday July 7th from 11am when all will be welcome.

"The club coaches will take all on court for some tennis fun and games - this is a great free family day out with strawberries and cream, Pimms, a bar with hot and cold food and Tony Pryce Sports demonstrating a wide range of new tennis rackets," added Vinny.

A new membership offer will be available during Wimbledon offering new players membership at half price, which includes six free group coaching lessons.
