Burnham-On-Sea good causes need your votes to win grant cash

Four good causes in Burnham-On-Sea have been shortlisted for a community fund which could see them receive thousands of pounds in grant.

Burnham’s swimming club, the Burnham Food & Drink Festival, St Andrew’s Parish Church Blagdon, and Heads Up are all in with a chance of receiving up to £3,000 from the community fund which is overseen by Lloyds Bank.

Members of the public are now able to vote for their favourite group online, on Twitter, via text message, or by visiting the Lloyds branch in Burnham-On-Sea.

In each community the good cause that receives the most votes will receive a £3,000 award, with the second placed group receiving an award of £2,000, those in third and fourth place receiving £1,000 and £500 respectively.
