handed to hospice in memory of lighthouse trail fundraiser
huge £8,000 has been presented to a Somerset hospice by
a Burnham-On-Sea charity in memory of a dedicated fundraiser who
died last year.
cancer support charity Petal handed over the cheque to St Margaret's
Hospice in Taunton on Sunday (April 19th).
huge sum was raised through donations collected during Burnham's
mini lighthouse trail last summer, which was overseen by fundraiser
Paul Plume, 48, who tragically passed away last December after
a brave battle with cancer.
Woodberry from Petal said: "We were able to donate these
funds because of the hard work and dedication that Paul, right,
put into creating and making the successful lighthouse trail."
commitment - along with Verity, Sarah and members of Highbridge
and Burnham Artists (HABA) - allowed Petal to donate this terrific

spokesperson for the hospice thanked the team for their generous
donation, saying it would help the vital ongoing work of the organisation
in supporting cancer sufferers and their families.
