an award by the town's MP to mark her 43 years of selling poppies.
Martin, 84, received a Poppy Collector's Merit Badge from MP James
Heappey during the launch of this year's Poppy Appeal for Burnham
and Highbridge on Saturday (October 24th).

Burnham's Tesco store on Saturday. Volunteers are now out selling
poppies in local supermarkets each day in the run-up to Remembrance
Sunday on November 8th when a wreath laying ceremony will be held
as usual at the town's war memorial.
Royal British Legion is still seeking volunterers to sell poppies
this year and volunteers can drop in at the Legion HQ in Victoria
Street any weekday between 10am-3pm to find out more.
