A missing person was found on Berrow Beach in the early hours of today (Sunday) following a night search by crews from Burnham-On-Sea.
Police called out Coastguards from Burnham-On-Sea and Weston plus BARB Search & Rescue at 1.20am to search for a vulnerable 24 year-old woman.
A search of the beach was carried out and the woman was found soon afterwards north of the beach parking area and taken to a waiting ambulance.
Burnham Coastguard deputy station officer Ian Jefferies said: “This was a good multi-agency incident with a successful outcome.”
