Burnham and Highbridge Police officer receives long-service award

A Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge police officer has received a Long Service and Good Conduct award at a ceremony.

Ten officers from Somerset have been presented with the awards during a ceremony at Police HQ in Portishead.

The officers have all completed over 20 years in service, and each received a scroll outlining their personal service history.

PC Ryan Dinham from Burnham, pictured here at Burnham's recent annual town council meeting, and Chief Superintendent Ian Wylie, the District Commander for Somerset, both were among the group.
