Police investigation is underway to identifty the body part of a
man washed up on Brean Beach on Monday evening (September 25th).
were called to the sands at around 6.30pm after a dog walker came
across the shock find on the high tideline.
eyewitness told Burnham-On-Sea.com that an area between Brean Cove
and Brean's main beach parking entrance was temporarily closed off
while Police were at the scene.
decomposing body part was taken away by several teams of Police
officers later in the evening as their investigation got underway
to identify the person.
beach has since fully re-opened, confirmed the beach warden.
spokeswoman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "We were called to Warren
Road in Brean at 6.40pm on Monday September 25th after an item,
possibly remains, were found washed up on the beach."
