Burnham-On-Sea firefighters were called to a property fire in East Huntspill on Boxing Day evening (Tuesday).
Crews were called out at 5.18pm to Church Road in East Huntspill after reports of a log burner incident.
Two fire appliances from Bridgwater, and a further appliance from Cheddar were sent to the scene.
A spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “When crews arrived it was found the fire was out but crews inspected the property with a carbon monoxide monitor and two breathing apparatus sets.”
“No readings were found on the carbon monoxide monitor and the log burner was made safe using small tools and a thermal imaging camera.”
