rescue crews called out overnight for missing person
Coastguards and BARB Search & Rescue were called to a major
search for a missing person on Weston beach during the early hours
of this morning (Monday).
helicopter, two BARB hovercrafts, three teams of Coastguards from
Burnham, Clevedon and Weston, plus Police, RNLI and a fire hovercraft
joined the search for a missing man.
missing man was described as being in a despondent state and had
been reported missing in and around the seafront," said Burnham
