Highbridge church window fund
craft fair is to be held this Saturday (September 30th) to raise
funds for a Highbridge church's fundraising appeal.
of the large 160-year-old windows in the east wing of St John's
Church is at a risk of collapsing and needs to be repaired at an
estimated cost of £3,000.
fundraising has already been boosted by a fish and chip supper and
a three-day summer flower show, plus other events.
Saturday, from 10am-1pm, there will be a craft fair at the church,
with 20 craft stalls raising funds towards the project. All will

"It's a lovely old window that displays the story of the crucifixion
and resurrection but over time the glass has started to buckle and
get out of shape."
