An air ambulance landed in West Huntspill, near Burnham-On-Sea, on Sunday evening (May 6th) to help a patient after a medical emergency.
The yellow Dorset and Somerset air ambulance surprised residents by landing in a field next to the Crossways Inn in the village at around 5.40pm, as pictured here.
Paramedics onboard assisted an ambulance crew with a patient nearby and then returned to the aircraft around an hour later. A patient was not air-lifted.
