A photo of Burnham-On-Sea’s lighthouse was the ‘image of the day’ on the front page of a leading search engine this week.
The colourful photograph of the iconic low lighthouse was selected by Bing as the site’s main cover image.
The photo, taken by Robert Maynard, shows the wooden building at sunset, reflected onto the wet sand and pools of sea water.
In 2014, we reported that Burnham-On-Sea lighthouse is among the world’s top 10 most beautiful lighthouses.
