-

A military helicopter made an unplanned landing in a field near Burnham-On-Sea on Tuesday afternoon (July 15th) after developing a technical problem.

The Royal Navy helicopter came down at 2pm in a field besides Langlands Lane in West Huntspill – as pictured here.

“It had a crew of three onboard and landed due to a malfunction,” local resident Colin Hall told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“All the crew were unharmed and a local resident was visited by one of the crew members and asked to contact the Naval authorities.”
