Wildlife charity to benefit from Burnham-On-Sea fundraising concert

-

A fundraising concert in aid of a local wildlife charity and a charity for people with learning disabilities is being held in Burnham-On-Sea today (Saturday).

The event at the Ritz Social Club will feature Burnham-based guitarist and vocalist Les Martin, raising funds for Secret World Wildlife Rescue in East Huntspill and Mencap.

It is being organised by residents John English and Maureen Clayton who raised hundreds of pounds for several local charities with a similar event last year.

The performance starts at 8pm, with tickets costing £3 each, which includes a buffet. To book a ticket, call John on 075973144148 or Maureen on 07729704739.

Secret World founder Pauline Kindner said that at a time when extra funds were needed to feed a growing number of orphaned animals, she was delighted that John and Maureen had decided to support the charity.
