Headteacher’s talk in Brent Knoll raises funds for good causes

-

Brent Knoll Parish Hall and the Children’s Hospice South West have both benefited following a successful fundraising talk by a former head teacher earlier this month.

Brian Freestone, pictured on the far right, recounted several amusing anecdotes during his talk, entitled ‘Crumbs from the Headmaster’s Table’, which were based on his experiences as a headmaster in Bristol and Somerset. The event, held in Brent Knoll Parish Hall on February 5th, also included a meal.

“Brian’s entertaining and highly amusing recollections provided a great conclusion to a memorable evening following a delicious meal,” one of the organisers, John Page, told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
