A motorcyclist was rushed to hospital on Sunday morning (December 24th) after an accident closed Burnham-On-Sea’s Marine Drive.
A red Kia pulling out of Apex Leisure Park collided with the motorcycle just after 11.30am.
Police and paramedics were quickly on the scene and the motorcyclist was taken to Weston General Hospital with a suspected broken leg and arm injuries.
Marine Drive was closed for 30 minutes after the accident, creating a backlog of Christmas shopping traffic in the area.
