Winners of Highbridge’s annual allotments competition have been presented with their awards during a ceremony in the town this week.
Highbridge County Councillor John Woodman attended the event at Southwell House to present the awards and also gave the Highbridge In Bloom team a donation of £500 from his community fund.
First place and a trophy went to Mr B Robertson, second place was won by Mrs P Rick, and third was Mr P Bawden.
The money will be used towards funding next year’s entry Highbridge In Bloom competition entry.
Councillor John Woodman told Burnham-On-Sea.com he was pleased to be supporting such a worthy local cause and looked forward to seeing the colourful displays in the town in 2010.
