The fitness staff at Brean Splash’s gym have taken part in a gruelling obstacle course called ‘The Devil Mud Run’ in Gloucestershire to raise money for the RNLI.

Facing miles of Muddy swamp conditions and gruelling obstacles along the way, a total of £266.50 was raised to support the Burnham-On-Sea lifeboat crew.

Kelly Griffiths, Personal trainer at Brean Splash, has visited Burnham-On-Sea RNLI Lifeboat station to present the sponsorship funds.

Kelly said: “Mud runs are a great way to fundraise, they are super-tough and put your fitness to the ultimate test. It was brilliant working as a team to raise money for a fantastic charity, we plan to get involved with more charity events like this in the future!”

Lifeboat crew and RNLI fundraising chairman Lesley Hart thanked them, adding: “We receive this money with our grateful thanks!”
