Burnham-On-Sea’s High Street briefly came to a halt on Friday (May 3rd) after a fuel leak.
A Burnham fire crew was called to a car outside Peacocks in the High Street at around 5pm where a large quantity of petrol had leaked onto the High Street, causing safety concerns.
The crew investigated to ensure there was no risk of a fire before leaving the incident with the vehicle’s owner.
