The ladies at Burnham-On-Sea’s Inner Wheel Club have filled dozens of shoeboxes with Christmas gifts for needy families in Romania.
The ladies of Burnham Inner Wheel got together this week to fill 63 shoeboxes which are being sent to Romania.
The group’s Sue Newbery told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The items in the boxes were sorted according to age, with the recipients ranging from babies up to ladies and gents.”
“The boxes were then delivered to a transport group who take all the boxes to Romania for distribution.”
“Thanks go to our International Service Organiser Sandra and the ladies of Inner Wheel who donated the items for the boxes, wrapped the boxes in Christmas paper, and also filled and labelled them all.”
