Highbridge runner in training for her 11th London Marathon

-

A well-known face at Highbridge’s King Alfred Sports Centre is to run her 11th consecutive London Marathon next month for charity.

Staff member Sara Marsh, who leads many of the sports centre’s exercise and toddler play sessions, will be pacing the streets of London on April 13th to raise money for VICTA, Visually Impaired Children Taking Action.

Graham Furze, Duty Manager, told Burnham-On-Sea.com on Saturday morning (March 22nd): “Sara has been a regular fixture in our Fitness Studio and workout classes over the past few months and has shown a real passion and commitment to the cause, attending nearly all of our 15 weekly classes.”

Readers who would like to sponsor Sara or find out more about King Alfred Sports Centre’s extensive programme of adult and junior activities can call 01278 786868.
