£765 raised by Burnham-On-Sea fundraisers for local hospice

-

Delicious homemade cakes and hot drinks were available when local fundraisers Chris and Anne Beckett held a ‘Time 4 Tea’ event in aid of St. Margaret’s Hospice at Burnham’s Baptist Hall.

This year’s event was bigger than ever and was attended by many including Burnham’s Deputy Mayor Cllr Mrs Pauline Pollard.

This is the seventh year that the Burnham Masons and their wives have organised a ‘Time 4 Tea’ event for St. Margaret’s Hospice and this year they raised the fantastic amount of £765. Over the seven years they have raised a total of £5,328.

Julie Draper, Community Fundraiser for St. Margaret’s, said: “I would like to thank Chris and Anne Beckett and all their dedicated helpers for making the day such a success.”

“The money that has been raised over the seven years is truly wonderful and appreciated so much by everyone at St. Margaret’s.”

“Contributions like this are invaluable in allowing us to fund the care we provide to the people of Somerset.”
