Burnham-On-Sea Women’s Institute is holding a Victorian Bazaar today (Saturday, 5th November) when a wide range of early Christmas gifts will be on sale.
The event will be held between 10am and 3pm at Burnham Community Centre in Berrow Road (pictured) to raise much-needed funds for the continuation of the centre’s refurbishment.
One of the organisers, Brenda Adams, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “There will be cakes and jams, plus hand-made crafts and items suitable for Christmas presents.”
“There will also be teas served by Victorian waitresses and we will also have some exhibits of Victorian memorabilia and a shoe shine boy!”
“We look forward to welcoming everyone for this fun event for a good cause.”
