Vodafone apology after fault hits phone users in Burnham-On-Sea

-

Vodafone has apologised to its mobile phone users in the Burnham-On-Sea area after it suffered a technical fault this week.

Many users in and around Burnham have been without their normal telephone and mobile Internet service for several days.

Vodafone spokeswoman Ally Stevens told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We have had an issue with one of our 3G sites in the Burnham-On-Sea area.”

“We replaced the equipment on Thursday which we believe has solved the problem. We’re also checking for any congestion on neighbouring sites. We’d like to take this opportunity to say sorry for any inconvenience caused to our customers.”

However, several readers contacted Burnham-On-Sea.com on Friday evening to say they are continuing to suffer Vodafone coverage issues.
