Cabbages and runner beans were among the plants inspected when judging took place for the annual Highbridge In Bloom Allotment Trophy.
Judges Mary and John Silverthorne from Bristol are pictured touring the allotments in Highbridge as they graded rows of plants.
The winner of the trophy will be announced next month to coincide with Highbridge finding out how it has performed in the national Britain In Bloom competition.
The Allotment Trophy was donated by Mr R Fisher for the best-kept allotment and the winner will also receive gardening vouchers.
