Hundreds attend East Huntspill’s Harvest Home

-

Hundreds of people gathered in East Huntspill on Saturday (September 4th) when the village held its annual harvest home.

The event was held in a huge tent set up next to Withy Road on the outskirts of the village.

After a slap-up meal, the event also included a fancy dress parade, in which a group of local children took part, pictured here. In the evening, entertainment from Burnham pop group The Ginger Hitlas was laid on.

Among those joining in the festivities was 87 year-old Ellie Bond, pictured top, who has recently completed a series of walks – 100 miles in total – in aid of the RNLI.
