Burnham’s ambulance service temporarily moves into fire station

-

Burnham-On-Sea fire station has become the temporary base for the town’s ambulance service for six weeks.

Burnham ambulance station in Love Lane is currently being refurbished and therefore the crews are temporarily operating from the fire station in Marine Drive instead.

Mel Glanville from South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Burnham ambulance station is currently undergoing a refurbishment to improve facilities.”

“Our staff are working from the fire station while this takes place. We expect to return to our refurbed station on 7th April.”
