Burnham-On-Sea fire crews were called to tackle a fire at a home in Highbridge on Thursday afternoon (March 20th).
Two fire crews were sent to a property in Worston Road after residents reported a chimney fire.
“Crews used a high ladder, a roof ladder, safety at height equipment and a high pressured hose reel to extinguish the fire,” a spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
The blaze was confined to the flue of the chimney and the overall damage was minimal. The cause was accidental.
